About the Authors

Kathleen (Kat) Tedsen and Beverlee (Bev) Rydel are authors of the upcoming Michigan haunted travel book, "Haunted Travels of Michigan".

Prior to beginning TR Desktop Publising in 1991, Kat had over 10 years' experience in writing, media production, training and management. She directed programs for Fortune 500 clients, including General Motors Corporation, Ford Motor Company, Harley Davidson and Kelly Services.

Bev carries more than 20 years' experience in management, training and public speaking. During that period, shes served in a senior management capacity for major financial institutions in the area of Human Resources.

Since 1991, this experienced duo have managed and published the"Michigan Vacation Guide" book series. This book was placed on the Secretary of State's "Read Michigan" list in 1995 and continues to serve as Michigan's most comprehensive publication on unique places to stay in Michigan.

 

About the"HAUNTED TRAVELS" book
(from the Authors' perspective)

Researching thousands of lodgings across our state, we have met many reputable people who have described experiences so powerful it made them true believers in ghosts and demons. These individuals recounted fascinating stories and identified locations they sincerely believe to be haunted. Are they simply stories, urban legends, folklore or fact? That's what we'll be investigating and writing about in the "Haunted Travels" book.

"Haunted Travels" will target Michigan's bed and breakfasts, restaurants and historic sites with a strong reputation of paranormal activity. Our reader will join us along with some of Michigan's best paranormal groups as we go on actual investigations. They will meet the investigators, enter into the stories and history of each location as we reveal the facts ... with a skeptic's eye.

Though the book will contain numerous photographys of each investigation, to give the reader a full three-dimensional experience, the book will be web interactive. On the web they will be able to see full color photographs, hear audio and see video evidence collected as they read along in the book. We'll also take them behind the scens of a typical investigation so they'll get a real sense of what happens.
