Regular Investigation: 8 pm to 1:30 am
Extended time for core group of 15 (TBD): 1:30 am - 5:30 am

We will divide attendees into small groups of 4-6 people. If you're coming with a paranormal team, you may keep all your team members in a single group.

Featured on SyFy Ghost Hunters and the Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures TV Series. Mansfield Reformatory is listed on America's "Most Haunted".

On this one special evening, you'll have have the opportunity of conducting your own paranormal investigation with the Haunted Travels Experience authors, Kat Tedsen and Bev Rydel and a few of their friends. For those who have never been on a real ghost hunt, this presents a very unique opportunity to experience what it's really like. For the experienced investigator ... well, you know (wink).

Requirements: Ages 21 and older

Release must be signed: All guests must sign and submit a "Release" agreement and return to TR Desktop Publishing (paperwork will be emailed within 1 week of registration)

Transportation: All guests must make individual arrangements for transport to the Reformatory. If you're looking to share a ride, we can setup a ride-share page.

Hunt Schedule:

7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. - Gates will open. All registered guests (Standard and VIP) will meet in front of the Reformatory no later than 7:00 p.m. You will be given rules and regulations by Mansfield Reformatory official. GATES ARE CLOSED AT 8:00 P.M. NO GUESTS WILL BE ADMITTED AFTER 8:00 P.M.

8:00 P.M. - Mansfield Reformatory Tour Guide will lead a 90 minute guided tour of the facility (Standard & VIP).

9:30 P.M. to 1:30 A.M. Lights will be turned off. Standard and VIP guests will be on their own to investigate the reformatory (including East/West Cell Blocks, Solitary Confinement, the Chapel, Superintendent's Quarters.) At 1:30 a.m. Standard registered guest investigation time ends at 1:30 a.m.

1:30 A.M. to 5:00 A.M. VIP PASS investigators begin their extended investigation. This small team will have private access to all available areas of the prison for the Extended Mansfield Reformatory Hunt.

Soft drinks, coffee, water will be available throughout the evening. Pizzas will be brought in around 10 p.m. for a late night ghost hunters' munch snack.

What to bring: Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Since this will occur in July, the day could be warm. The Reformatory has bathroom facilities but not air conditioning.

Bring flashlights and extra batteries!! The flashlight is very important ... it will be completely dark inside the cell blocks.

Bring any equipment you'd like (still, video cameras, audio recorders EMF readers, etc. etc.) This is YOUR INVESTIGATION! Note: There is limited availability of electrical outlets. Setting up DVR systems will be difficult, if not impossible, without massive amounts of electrical extension cords.

Rules of Conduct: Be respectful to other investigators. Keep chatter down during investigation. When you move into a new area of the prison, announce yourself in a clear, loud voice so other investigators in the area (if any) know you are there.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES NOT ALLOWED. Anyone appearing to be under the influence or acting erratically will be escorted from the premises. No refund.

Lodging: We understand there is a nearby hotel that offers discounts to Mansfield guests. We'll provide that information as soon as it's available.
